Mr. Nitin Shah is the Managing Director of India’s Premier Services & Solutions Provider organization “ALLIED DIGITAL”. After the completion of his Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai, he obtained his BE (Electrical) degree with a distinction in 1977 followed by Post Graduation in Management from JBIMS, Mumbai.
With short stints in Crompton Greaves & Nelco, he got a break with CMC where he worked for 5 years as a Customer Support Engineer and then with Hinditron for 2 years. During these years, he got an extensive exposure on Mainframe Maintenance.
Mr. Shah is one of those few veterans to have started his own IT organization to support and service large Mainframes and minicomputers in the year 1984. Allied Digital is the most reputed name in System Integration with employee strength of 1000 having its direct presence in 72 cities across India. Over the last 2 decades, Allied Digital has received several accolades & awards as recognition to its technical excellence & customer focus.
Mr. Shah has witnessed the growth of India’s IT industry from its primitive stage to the present stage of IT superpower of the world. During 28 years of this observance, he has come across various innovations in Technology, Process & Applications, etc. He has been a witness to the ever-changing IT industry from Mainframe era TO PC era TO Network era TO Internet era TO the current Wi-Fi era.
During his tenure, he has received several accolades like “WHO’S WHO OF THE WORLD” & “INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR 2005” coveted by Cambridge, England.
Mr. Shah has always been in the fore-front in terms of bridging the gap by bringing the industries and academia closer. He is also a very active member of MAIT & TAIT to address various issues and concerns to provide impetus towards the growth of IT industry in India.
Mr. Shah has seen the transformation within him from being a Customer Support Engineer to a Technical person, then to a Sales & Marketing person to a Business Manager to a Mentor and then to an evangelist. Hence he is an ideal role model for becoming an entrepreneur.
He strongly believes that if one has strong will power, conviction, sincerity, honesty & hardworking capacity with a very clear goal & vision, then its possible to make it big in the IT industry.
